Privacy Policy

Effective date: 30 August 2026

Last updated: 30 August 2026

Version 1.0

Football Express respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal data responsibly, transparently and securely.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, disclosed and protected when you use Football Express websites, mobile websites, applications and related services. It also explains privacy choices and rights that may apply depending on where you live.

1. Who operates Football Express

Football Express is operated under the Six Platforms brand in India.

References in this Privacy Policy to “Football Express”, “FE”, “we”, “us” or “our” refer to the operation of the Football Express service under that brand.

For privacy questions, requests or complaints, contact:

Six Platforms – Privacy / Data Protection

https://sixplatforms.com/contact/

Please identify your communication as a Privacy Request or Data Protection Complaint where appropriate.

If the legal structure or operator of Football Express changes, this Privacy Policy and our Legal Notice will be updated accordingly.

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Football Express services that link to it, including:

  • footballexpress.com and related Football Express web services;
  • mobile versions of Football Express;
  • the Football Express Android application where this Policy is made applicable;
  • Football Express privacy and support communications; and
  • future Football Express applications or services that expressly adopt this Policy.

Independent third-party websites and services are governed by their own privacy practices.

3. Our privacy principles

We aim to follow these principles:

Data minimisation

We seek to process only information reasonably necessary for a defined purpose.

Purpose limitation

We do not intentionally repurpose personal data for materially incompatible purposes without an appropriate legal basis and, where required, additional notice or consent.

Transparency

We explain material processing activities and update our policies when those activities materially change.

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the nature and risk of the processing.

Retention limitation

We do not intentionally keep identifiable personal data longer than necessary for the relevant purpose, legal obligation, security need or legitimate claim.

Privacy by design

Material new features involving personal data should be assessed before launch.

User choice

Where applicable law requires consent or an opt-out, we provide appropriate controls.

4. Information we process

Most Football Express v1 content can be used without creating an account.

Football Express v1 does not currently provide public account registration or login and therefore does not require a user name, password, date of birth or personal profile simply to view football information.

We may nevertheless process the categories below.

4.1 Technical and connection information

When your browser or device connects to Football Express, our infrastructure necessarily receives technical information required to respond to the request.

This may include:

  • IP address;
  • request date and time;
  • requested URL or resource;
  • HTTP method and response status;
  • browser and browser version;
  • operating system;
  • device or user-agent information;
  • language or locale;
  • referring page where supplied;
  • request timing and diagnostic information; and
  • security and error information.

Football Express also uses browser timezone information to present football dates and times appropriately.

User-agent information may be used to identify broad device classes, including Android phones, for functionality such as app-related routing.

4.2 Server and application logs

Our servers generate request IDs, HTTP request logs, application errors and related diagnostic records.

These records may contain or be associated with information such as:

  • IP address;
  • user agent;
  • request path;
  • response status;
  • request timing;
  • error information; and
  • technical identifiers.

We use these records for reliability, debugging, security, abuse prevention and service administration.

4.3 Local browser preferences

Football Express uses browser storage for limited purposes.

Current examples include:

  • appearance/theme preference;
  • privacy and consent choices;
  • recent searches where Functional storage has been permitted; and
  • a voting/prediction identifier when the user actually participates in that functionality.

More detail is provided in our Cookie Policy.

4.4 Recent searches

If you enable Functional storage through Football Express Privacy Settings, recent searches may be saved locally on your device so that they can be shown again.

Football Express search continues to operate if you reject Functional storage. Rejecting it simply prevents persistent recent-search convenience storage.

Withdrawing Functional permission clears Football Express recent-search storage under our control.

4.5 Prediction and voting identifier

Football Express may create a persistent browser identifier when you actually submit a prediction or vote.

The identifier is used to:

  • associate voting activity with a browser;
  • reduce duplicate voting;
  • preserve voting integrity; and
  • detect abuse.

The identifier is not created merely because you visit Football Express or view prediction totals.

It is not intended to identify you by name, but because a persistent identifier can distinguish a browser or device, we treat it as potentially personal information.

Existing legacy voting activity may cause an existing identifier to be migrated when necessary to preserve previously submitted voting state.

4.6 Analytics information

Football Express contains a consent-controlled integration for Google Analytics 4 (GA4).

Google Analytics operates only where:

  1. a valid GA measurement ID is configured; and
  2. you have granted Analytics permission through Football Express Privacy Settings.

Before Analytics permission is granted, Football Express does not load the GA script or intentionally send Google Analytics requests.

If enabled, analytics information may include:

  • pages viewed;
  • interactions and events;
  • general session information;
  • browser and device information;
  • operating-system information;
  • approximate geographic information;
  • referral information; and
  • analytics identifiers used by Google Analytics.

Football Express uses this integration for traffic measurement and service improvement.

For v1 we do not intentionally enable Google Signals, remarketing, advertising personalisation, enhanced conversions or Google advertising-personalisation signals through this integration.

4.7 Information you voluntarily provide

If you contact Football Express or Six Platforms, we may process information you choose to provide, including:

  • name;
  • email address;
  • message;
  • attachments;
  • correspondence history; and
  • information necessary to understand or respond to your enquiry.

Please do not submit sensitive personal data unless it is genuinely necessary for your request.

5. Information we do not currently require for ordinary v1 use

Football Express v1 does not currently require:

  • a Football Express account;
  • a password;
  • a date of birth;
  • a user profile;
  • payment-card information;
  • precise GPS location;
  • access to contacts;
  • microphone access;
  • camera access;
  • access to personal photographs;
  • social-login credentials; or
  • push-notification registration.

We also do not intentionally seek special-category or similarly sensitive personal data for ordinary use.

If materially different functionality is introduced, we will review and update our notices and controls before or when required by law.

6. How information is collected

Information may be collected:

Automatically

When your device communicates with Football Express infrastructure.

From browser storage

When storage necessary for functionality is used or when you have permitted optional Functional or Analytics technologies.

Directly from you

When you contact us or submit a privacy request.

Through service providers

Where infrastructure, hosting, security, app-distribution or analytics providers process information in connection with services supplied to us.

From third-party or public sources

Only where appropriate for a defined Football Express purpose and permitted by applicable law.

7. Purposes and legal bases

The legal basis for processing depends on the activity and applicable jurisdiction.

Where GDPR-style legal bases apply, processing may be based on consent, performance of a service requested by you, compliance with legal obligations, or legitimate interests that are not overridden by your rights.

Providing Football Express

We process necessary technical information to:

  • return requested pages and football information;
  • operate functionality;
  • process user-requested features;
  • manage infrastructure; and
  • provide a reliable service.

Security and abuse prevention

We may process information to:

  • detect malicious activity;
  • prevent abuse or fraud;
  • protect infrastructure;
  • investigate incidents;
  • preserve voting integrity; and
  • establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Preferences and functionality

Where permitted by law or chosen by you, we use device storage to remember requested appearance settings, consent state and optional convenience features.

Analytics

Where required, GA4 analytics processing is based on your consent.

Communications

Information supplied in an enquiry is processed to answer your request, maintain necessary records and handle legal or privacy matters.

Legal obligations

We may process or preserve information when necessary to comply with applicable laws, valid governmental requests, court orders or regulatory obligations.

8. Privacy Settings and consent

Football Express provides a first-party privacy-choice system.

The current categories are:

Necessary — Always active

Used for essential service functionality, security, privacy choices and functionality specifically requested by you.

Functional — Optional

Allows convenience functionality such as persistent recent searches.

Functional storage is off by default before you make a choice.

Analytics — Optional

Allows consent-controlled Google Analytics measurement.

Analytics is off by default before you make a choice.

You may:

  • accept all optional technologies;
  • reject optional technologies;
  • manage Functional and Analytics choices separately; and
  • change your choices later through Privacy Settings in the Football Express footer.

Consent choices are stored locally using a versioned consent record and expire after approximately six months, after which Football Express requests a fresh choice.

If the consent format materially changes or a stored choice is invalid, Football Express may request a new choice earlier.

9. Withdrawing consent

You may withdraw an optional consent at any time through Privacy Settings.

Functional

Withdrawing Functional permission stops future persistent recent-search use and clears Football Express recent-search storage under our control.

Analytics

Withdrawing Analytics permission:

  • disables future GA collection for the configured Football Express property;
  • updates Football Express consent state; and
  • removes JavaScript-accessible _ga analytics cookies under our control where technically possible.

Because browser and third-party technical restrictions can limit cookie deletion, we cannot guarantee deletion of cookies that are inaccessible to Football Express JavaScript or stored outside the scope we control.

The GA JavaScript may remain in browser memory after withdrawal during the current page session, but future collection is disabled.

Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

10. Global Privacy Control

Football Express detects and records a browser-provided Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal when consent preferences are saved.

Football Express v1 does not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Where applicable law later requires a GPC signal to control processing that Football Express performs, we will honour the signal for that processing.

11. Advertising and profiling

Football Express v1 does not currently intentionally deploy:

  • personalised advertising;
  • behavioural advertising;
  • remarketing;
  • Google AdSense;
  • Google Ad Manager;
  • Meta Pixel;
  • cross-site advertising profiles;
  • advertising fingerprinting; or
  • advertising-vendor/IAB TCF tracking lists.

Football Express does not currently sell personal information for monetary consideration.

If advertising or processing legally defined as sale, sharing or targeted advertising is introduced later, we will update our disclosures and implement applicable consent or opt-out controls before or when required.

12. Third parties and recipients

Depending on the feature used, categories of recipients may include:

  • hosting and infrastructure providers;
  • database and network providers;
  • security and technical-support providers;
  • Google when GA4 is enabled by consent;
  • Google Play in connection with application distribution or user-requested navigation;
  • professional advisers;
  • regulators, courts or governmental authorities where legally required; and
  • parties involved in a lawful corporate restructuring or transfer.

Sportmonks supplies football data to Football Express through server-side systems. Football Express does not intentionally transmit visitor personal data to Sportmonks simply because a visitor views a Football Express page.

13. External links

Football Express contains links to external destinations including Google Play, Google Maps, social networks, Six Platforms, football entities and other websites.

A normal outbound link does not mean that the destination automatically receives visitor information merely because the Football Express page was rendered.

When you choose to follow an external link, your browser communicates with that third party and its own privacy practices apply.

14. International transfers

Football Express is accessible internationally.

Our service providers may process information outside the country where you live.

Where applicable law restricts international transfers, we use or require an appropriate lawful mechanism where necessary, which may include:

  • adequacy decisions;
  • approved contractual clauses;
  • recognised transfer frameworks;
  • supplementary technical or organisational safeguards; or
  • another mechanism permitted by applicable law.

15. Retention

We retain identifiable personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose, taking account of:

  • operational requirements;
  • security needs;
  • the sensitivity of the information;
  • applicable legal obligations;
  • limitation periods;
  • dispute or claim requirements; and
  • whether information can be anonymised.

Examples include:

Consent records

The active local consent preference expires after approximately six months.

Recent searches

Persistent recent searches are used only while Functional permission permits them and are cleared when that permission is withdrawn.

Voting identifiers

Voting identifiers are retained only as needed to support voting state, integrity and abuse prevention and may also remain until removed through browser or application storage controls.

Technical/security logs

Logs are retained according to operational, reliability, security and legal needs and deleted, rotated or anonymised when no longer reasonably required.

Privacy communications

Privacy and legal correspondence may be retained for a period reasonably necessary to document the request, demonstrate compliance and handle legal claims.

16. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the risk, which may include:

  • encryption in transit;
  • access controls;
  • authentication and permissions;
  • infrastructure and network protections;
  • logging and monitoring;
  • secure development practices;
  • vulnerability and dependency management;
  • data minimisation;
  • backup and recovery controls; and
  • incident-response processes.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Where legally required, affected individuals and regulators will be notified of qualifying personal-data breaches.

17. Children and young people

Football Express is a general football-information service.

V1 does not require users to create accounts and we do not knowingly seek unnecessary personal data from children.

Where law requires parental or guardian authorisation for a particular processing activity involving a child, we will obtain the necessary authorisation or avoid that processing.

We do not currently intentionally conduct behavioural advertising directed at children.

Different jurisdictions apply different age thresholds and requirements.

If you believe information relating to a child has been processed inappropriately, contact us.

18. Automated decision-making and artificial intelligence

Football Express v1 does not currently make solely automated decisions using a visitor’s personal data that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects on that person.

Automated systems may be used for ordinary technical purposes such as:

  • security;
  • abuse prevention;
  • traffic management;
  • voting-integrity checks;
  • monitoring; and
  • service reliability.

If legally significant automated decision-making or profiling is introduced later, we will provide the additional transparency and rights required by applicable law.

19. Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law and exceptions, you may have rights to:

  • know whether personal data is being processed;
  • access personal data;
  • obtain information about processing purposes and recipients;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • complete incomplete information;
  • request deletion;
  • restrict processing;
  • object to processing;
  • withdraw consent;
  • obtain portable data where applicable;
  • opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted-advertising or profiling activities;
  • limit certain uses of sensitive information;
  • appeal certain privacy-request decisions;
  • challenge legally significant automated decisions;
  • make a complaint to an appropriate regulator; and
  • exercise other locally mandated rights.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

How to exercise your rights

Contact:

Six Platforms – Privacy / Data Protection

https://sixplatforms.com/contact/

Identify the communication as a Privacy Request.

We may request information reasonably necessary to verify identity or authority.

20. European Economic Area and United Kingdom

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, rights may include:

  • access;
  • rectification;
  • erasure;
  • restriction;
  • portability;
  • objection;
  • withdrawal of consent; and
  • protections concerning certain automated decision-making.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, those interests may include securely operating Football Express, maintaining infrastructure, preventing abuse, preserving service integrity and responding to users.

Where consent is the legal basis, you may withdraw it for future processing.

You may also lodge a complaint with the data-protection supervisory authority responsible for your place of residence, work or the alleged infringement.

21. India

Football Express is designed with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 in mind.

The Rules and related statutory provisions have phased commencement dates.

As relevant provisions become applicable to Football Express processing, we will apply the corresponding obligations within their legal scope.

Subject to commencement provisions and statutory exceptions, rights under the Indian framework may include rights relating to:

  • information about personal-data processing;
  • correction;
  • completion;
  • updating;
  • erasure;
  • grievance redressal; and
  • nomination of another individual in circumstances recognised by law.

Where valid consent is required, Football Express intends to provide understandable notices, meaningful choice and a mechanism to withdraw consent.

22. United States

Privacy rights vary by state and by whether a particular law applies to Football Express.

Where applicable, rights may include:

  • confirmation and access;
  • correction;
  • deletion;
  • portability;
  • opt-out of sale;
  • opt-out of sharing or targeted advertising;
  • limits on certain sensitive-data processing;
  • opt-out of certain profiling;
  • appeals; and
  • non-discrimination.

California

Where the California Consumer Privacy Act applies, categories Football Express may process include:

Identifiers — such as IP address or online/browser identifiers.

Internet or network activity — such as request, usage and interaction information.

Approximate geolocation — such as location inferred at a broad level from network information, where processed.

Football Express does not currently sell personal information for money or intentionally share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

If that changes, required California disclosures and opt-out mechanisms, including applicable GPC handling, will be implemented.

23. Other jurisdictions

Where applicable, Football Express will respect mandatory privacy obligations under other jurisdictions in which its services are available.

These may include privacy regimes in countries such as Brazil, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, South Africa and others.

If a mandatory local rule gives you greater protection than this Policy, the applicable mandatory rule controls.

24. Android application

Football Express is distributed through Google Play.

The current development repository does not contain the original historical native Android source code or AndroidManifest for the existing application, so we cannot fully verify historical native permission configuration from this repository alone.

Before materially expanding native application functionality, relevant mobile permissions and privacy disclosures should be reviewed.

Google Play may independently process information associated with app distribution under Google’s own terms and privacy practices.

25. Future features

Football Express will review this Privacy Policy before launching material new processing.

This includes, in particular, future functionality such as:

  • user accounts;
  • social login;
  • notifications;
  • personalised services;
  • advertising;
  • material new analytics;
  • comments or other user-generated content; and
  • news aggregation or publisher integrations that introduce new personal-data flows.

Future functionality is not treated as currently active merely because it is mentioned here.

26. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy when:

  • our processing changes;
  • a new service provider or technology is introduced;
  • legal requirements change;
  • the Football Express operator or legal structure changes; or
  • new functionality materially affects privacy.

The latest version will display a revised “Last updated” date.

Where a change requires fresh consent, Football Express will request a new choice.

27. Contact and complaints

You may also have the right to complain to the privacy, data-protection or consumer-protection authority responsible for your jurisdiction.
